Similarities of Opposite Nights

Not given the gift of a good first impression
That one night that was filled with aggression
I said some things I shouldn't have said
The rest of the night I lay up in bed
You seem really nice and looked quite attractive
But on Halloween night, my heart wasn't active

Halloween party, I looked in your eyes
The bad things I said were nothing but lies
I heard that you said some bad things about me
But I coulnd't say that I didn't agree

I walked in the door and joked around while
I looked right at you and noticed that smile
A smile I didn't see much at our previous meeting
But saw alot more of while we were eating
An amazing night where I felt I could fly
Unlike last time, where I felt I could die

Both nights are over, both nights are done
Both were so quick, where has time gone?
Who knows how next time we'll meet
But Halloween night won't be too hard to beat
