The New World's No Longer America

Today's a new day, windows present a different picture
Breaking away, add new options to the mixture
Life is upside down, we're living it wrong

The world is a new one, we've flipped Earth around
We're having some fun, screaming without a sound
Death is not sad now, the night is so bright
Rules they don't allow, murder's alright

Cat's are now kings with rats by their side
Dogs insist we play dead and we do it all too well

Yesterday's tomorrow and today doesn't happen
Fly in a swallow, the plane's wings are flappin'
We've got nukes for peace and civilians for war

Cat's are now kings with rats by their side
Dogs insist we play dead and we do it all too well
Cat's are now kings with rats by their side
Dogs insist we play dead and we do it all too well

Nothing's the same, here's to life on the sun
Love is a game, it's played just for fun
Each girl's a princess, and they get what they get
A heart is too excessive, so we treat them like shit

Cat's are now kings with rats by their side
Dogs insist we play dead and we do it all too well
We do it all too well
Salt in a wound, it's the newest relief
Dead flowers are blooming, against all belief
Drownign in air, so don't let me breath
I only find hope when the sword isn't sheathed
